Without really testing to see if it works, can you
create a gplot.rb as a peer to the gplot directory,
requiring 'gplot/Whatever' and 'gplot/WhateverElse'? 
Sorry I haven't tried it myself.  Not conveniently
able to access an equipped computer at the moment.
