It worked fine. But, the directory does not contain the configure script. The README says: "1. If ./configure does not exist or is older than configure.in, run autoconf to (re)generate configure." I don't have the command autoconf. How do I go about creating the configure script? I am running FreeBSD 3.4R. Also, if I am updating ruby, do I need to remove any files before the make or make install?
