Louis,

It's nothing personal against Java as a language. The majority of our few
man team doesn't like programming in Java and with the size and scale of
this project I dont' feel that it is worth making them use Java. The list
was contrived by them and myself. And we've narrowed it done to the two
languages they'd prefer using. Perl & Ruby.
