I don't suppose someone has the time to contribute a parallel set of
tests for NT? If so, if you could write the code using conditionals

  if $os == NT ....
  if $os == W95
  if $os == W98
  if $os == WME

  if $os <= Windows             # any windows variant


I'd shur 'preciate it.
