Subject: It's OK; I worked out the problem

The issue was to do with permissions.  I was running Zeus on files on a 
Samba share.

It would be nice, though, if instead of just saying "An unexpected error 
..." it told you what the actual error was.

I don't intend to direct this criticism solely at Zeus, but ... it 
always amazes me how little effort people seem to go to in terms of 
providing explicit error messages.  The number of times I've seen error 
messages like "Can't open file" that don't tell you the reason the file 
couldn't be opened (eg, permissions, or the file doesn't exist, or 
whatever) nor often even *what* file they failed to open absolutely 
amazes me.

With good error messages, the end user can normally sort out almost 
every problem.  Without them, we spend all our time talking to support.

End of rant :-).

Once I sorted out the permissions, I was able to add a file to the 
workspace, but no classes appeared, until I did an udpate of the tags.  
It might be a good idea to automatically do an update when files are added.

Anyway, so far, it looks like a nice editor!
