That was really why I thought it was an interesting project.  The use of 
Ruby for scripting tasks with languages and evironments that professional 
programmers might be using on paying jobs is a great way to add to the 
productivity of the developers and then, as a result, make in-roads 
into companies.

An example of how to use it:

jvm = JDI::JavaVirtualMachine.connect_via_tcpip('localhost', 8081)
jvm.each_class do |klass|
  klass.each_method do |method|
    puts method.name
    puts method.signature
    method.bytecodes.bytes.each do |byte|
      puts JVM::Opcode::CODES[byte].name
    end
  end
end


Speaking of projects being inactive, I have some code that's been sitting 
on my laptop and needs to be committed. :)  The guilt....
