Okay, it is apparently included in the diffs, but it doesn't work:

	irb(main):001:0> RUBY_RELEASE_DATE
	=> "2003-09-09"
	irb(main):002:0> class ::Foo
	SyntaxError: compile error
	(irb):2: parse error
	        from (irb):2
	irb(main):003:0>
