Every message I post on USENET has a unique, but workable email address and the only thing that shows up on those addresses is virus email. Goggle and the web is where the spam harvesters are going now. Usenet is not as visible as you might think. I don't much care either way, but if you use an email address that can be looked up somehow, you will get spam to that address. Certainly Usenet was a spam source early in the game, but now it's much simpler to use the web and publically available directories to get email addresses. _ The virus email is not coming from USENET, but from the mail archives that people have on their hard drives. The only thing that will stop that is entirely munging the address so that you can only communicate via the email list. _ Booker C.
