  ...I must confess...I dont really understood that "duck typing"
  thing...

  I read about it in the WhyTheLuckyStiff-Article (about the new
  things in ruby 1.80) ... but I dont know for sure, whether that,
  what I thought I had understood comes near to that, what it is
  really... and what it is compared to what is used (for what?) before
  1.80. 

  But I have learned, that ducks, which walk like a duck and quak like
  a ducks are really ducks...but I see no parallel to ruby programming
  which is definetly my fault...

  I do not insist on method redefinition...but I want something, which
  can be used as "adaptor" or "replacement" or...(my English isnt that
  godd...sorry) for it.
