for web development feel free to try (these are the projects I saw on
this list at least some times):

- eruby/ERB embedded code a-la PHP/ASP/JSP
- amrita (similar to HTML::Mason)  
- NARF (enhanced cgi lib)
- CGIKit (similar to webObjects)
- IOWA web app develkopment framework

and our 5 application servers:
  Roach, Borges, Radical, Mephle, Cerise

Hope I remember all this stuff correctly and didn't forgot someone  ;)
