There hasn't been a moment that I've used Ruby where I felt I was losing.
There are many ways to define success.  I'm not convinced that we should
be competing with Java, Python, and C#.  I don't think any of Ruby's
creators have a goal of "dethroning" any of the mainstream languages.

We're building great things that work, and we enjoy doing it.  We're not
playing football.
