I don't believe that there _is_ an objective comparison of the two 
languages, any more than there's an objective comparison of (say) 
French and English. You can produce dry descriptions of the history of 
the language, and statistics on usage, and so on, but there's no 
meaningful way to say which is better.

So, it would seem to be a subjective decision: which is better for 
_you_, in your current circumstances? The community will certainly be 
here to help as you investigate that question, but I honestly can see a 
way that it can answer it for you.
