For example, from ruby9i/baseinterval.c:

  VALUE biv_initialize(int argc, VALUE *argv, VALUE self)
  {
     rb_call_super(argc, argv);

     oci9_define_buf *bp;

This bp looks like a variable definition, but C90 shouldn't
allow it after excution statements.
