At the time I wanted something that looked more like JDBC or Perl DBI, if memory serves. However, that's all C++. Back to Ruby. :) With just a quick glance at the OTL, it appears very much C++-centric and not particularly applicable to Ruby. Is there any template/genericity functionality in Ruby?
