From: Mark Firestone Date: 2003-06-02T22:10:50+09:00 Subject: Re: Named Pipes I'm glad you like it. I was planning on writing a clone of TW2002 in Pascal (about 10 years ago...) that project sat, about 1/8 done, on the shelf for years... then I revived it, got it to about 1/8 done again (cause I lost my original code) in Pascal, and then my friend said, "you should do that in Ruby..." That project never got off the ground -- I ended up doing the BBS first (my TW clone was going to stand on it's own... as a telnetable app...) They still sell TW2002... so I just bought a copy and made the connector. Now I need a new PC. Sigh. Fancy a game? I have to get some players now! Take Care, Mark P.S. What games did you play/write... I was mainly a TW player... I've been thinking about throwing together a multiplayer version of Super Star Trek... remember that? I think that could be fun!
