What would be really nice is if we could have just one symbol meaning "pack an integer" (or "unpack an integer"), or rather two characters (one for big-endian, one for little-endian), plus a number of bytes. I suppose maybe another option for signed/unsigned, for use when unpacking (and/or for bounds checking when packing). So at most that's 4 symbols to cover all options. Cheers, Brian.
