Not only $CC is compiler, not linker. It is even a compiler for a different language (C, not C++). It is next to linking with javac ;-) So, for gcc3 (Apple Computer, Inc. GCC version 1175, based on gcc version 3.1 20020420 (prerelease)) I have: CC=g++ CXX=g++ CPPFLAGS=-I/sw/include LDFLAGS="-L/sw/lib" ../configure --with-opengl=opengl --enable-cups -- Michal Suchanek hramrach@centrum.cz
