Do you have any suggestions for an alternative to StringIO ?


Instead of StringIO I tried inheriting from the IO class,
But no luck neither.. 

class CaptureOutput < IO
    def initialize
        super(2)   # todo: how should I initialize the IO class ?
    end
    def write(text)
        # redirect text elsewhere
    end
end



How should I move on ?
