It's not my first choice for most projects, but I have to admit that the PHP community has responded to each disparaging comment by improving the capabilities of the language. Ruby is growing fast, that's for sure. Other than that, the best way to "promote" Ruby is just to use it. Of course, that's all _very_ subjective opinion ;-) - Brian W
