          Pierre Baillet released a set of tools that aim to manipulate
          JPEG/JFIF images via a pure Ruby API. Get Rubum([1]).

   Madeleine 0.2
          Anders Bengtsson has released another version of Madeleine.
          Madeleine is a pure Ruby implementation the Object Prevalence
          transparent persistence of business objects framework. Get
          Madeleine([2]).

   J->E translation of Matz's Japan /. interview
          OTA Takashi has made an intial translation of the interview and
          requests assistance from the english speaking/writing
          community. It is a wiki so feel free to edit any errors found
          in thetranslation([3]). Thank you for the work!

   Inherit vs. include
          Ever been confused about if should inherit or if you should
          mixin functionality? If so, you are not the only one. This
          short thread discusses some possible heuristics you might want
          to think about when you have to make this decision next.

   Standardized package installation procedure
          Tom Payne has recently offered his services to help maintain
          Ruby packages for Gentoo([4]) Linux (thank you Tom!). He
          highlights that Ruby packages do not have a standard method of
          installation. This thread debates if a standard method of
          installation fits for Ruby.
