At some point I'd like to extend this, though I'm not sure to what bounds at the moment. I've been surprised w/ how many Gentoo users I've seen within the Ruby community, and I'll agree with you by saying that the idea (of a Gentoo-Ruby advocacy group) is one I would definitely support.
