Subject: FreeRIDE Problem on RH8 Machine

Pre-hacking, I glanced at FreeRIDE. Even without the Speller working 
(lexical scope and all that AI jazz -- and my doesn't Ward Cunningham's 
speller work quickly on WikiWikiWeb!) it seemed to be worthy of further 
exploration.

Then, up popped the DependencyDemons in full force! I managed to make 
X11R6 dysfunctional on my RH8 machine by trying to obtain a copy of 
libGLcore that was needed for X so that Y would... etc. You get the 
picture! (CAUTION!! Newbie at play!)
