Subject: CLOS-like system & Ruby

Hi!

I'm pretty new to Ruby and would like to know whether it allows one to
have dynamic system like Lisp's CLOS?

The application is an attempt write an user-configurable context-based
markup scheme ie. an internal tree of objects with certain attributes has to be
parsed and an appropriate user definable markup (via config file(s)) has
to be produced by rasing appropriate events.

Any idea?
