I'd rather control the add-on processing than bloat the lexer to
understand the funny indent-delimited here-doc that you're proposing.

The rare times I actually care about indenting the here-doc (rarely) are
the only times I want to incur the overhead of trimming out the
indentation.

Adding this "feature" to the language means making the parser
unnecessarily larger ... for an interpreted language, that's just
wasteful.
