Subject: ruby intern

I was interested in how ruby handles functioncalls intern.
I found out that the coresponding C function is rb_funcall but I couldn't
find where this function is defined.
The only thing I found was
VALUE rb_funcall __((VALUE, ID, int, ...));
in ruby.h but I couldn't make sense of it.
