I don't think there are any fundamental differences in the content. Some 
(or all?) of the figures in the print book didn't make it into the 
online book. A more serious distraction when reading the online version 
is that there are references to page numbers in the print version (e.g. 
"... for more information see XXX on page 200") that are useless for the 
online version.

So, do the right thing and buy the book ;)
