From: Curt Hibbs Date: 2003-01-27T06:41:16+09:00 Subject: Re: Is there any chance of getting the ruby.org domain? NetIdentity sells "designer" email address (and optional web sites). That's where I got my email address - curt@hibbs.com - based on my name. NetIdentity bought thousands of domains of peoples last names and various other words (like "ruby") and sells email addresses. So, it may appear that they are not using ruby.org, but they very well may have sold and service hundreds of email addresses based on ruby.org. That being the case, it is unlikely that they would give up the domain. What about using one of the newly released top-level domains like ruby.int (int=International). curt > -----Original Message----- > From: Daniel Carrera [mailto:dcarrera@math.umd.edu] > Sent: Sunday, January 26, 2003 10:00 AM > To: ruby-talk ML > Subject: Re: Is there any chance of getting the ruby.org domain? > > > > No harm in asking.
