Subject: Is there any chance of getting the ruby.org domain?

It seems to me that it would be much easier if the Ruby community had
the ruby.org domain for everything Ruby.

When I go to www.ruby.org it redirects to www.netidentity.com offering
me to use ruby.org for my email address.

Is there any chance of buying the domain from them? Has anyone made any
approaches to them with the possibility of buying the domain name?

I'm sure this has come up before but I could not find it in a search for
"ruby.org" in Google groups.
