In fact several of them were pretty recepeptive to Ruby. I want to thank the Rubyists who attended and helped fill in the gaps in my presentation. I think that when the Perl folks saw that there were some other folks in the audience who were using Ruby and offering suggestions that it helped reinforce the idea that Ruby is in use out in the real world. Special thanks to the two from Seattle who drove six hours (round trip). You can find my presentation at: http://www.aracnet.com/~ptkwt/pm_presentation/rSlide-0.html BTW: I used YAML and a script called slideshow.rb to create the presentation.
