As a Windows user, Sound::Audiofile sounds like it could be useful to me, but it won't be -- because it binds to a Linux library not likely to be available (and according to SGI's OSS pages, probably won't be). Additionally, libaudiofile doesn't actually produce *sound*; it helps with the manipulation of various audio file formats.
