From: "NAKAMURA, Hiroshi" Date: 2002-12-25T14:38:42+09:00 Subject: [ATTN] Prepare name freeze of RAA Hi, all, We are preparing RAA update to freeze project "name" field. As I wrote in [ruby-talk:58018], it is planed to happen at the end of this year. (To say the truth, it will be at early in the next year that we'll do the change :-) Project owners, please go RAA http://www.ruby-lang.org/raa/ now and search RAA with your name to see if your project names are appropriate for RAA users to remember. An user may try to install your library with Raainstall by typing "raainstall -i projectname". Another user might want to put a link to your project such as http://www.ruby-lang.org/raa/list.rhtml?name=raa . Memorable project name is important. You can search your project from http://www.ruby-lang.org/raa/search.rhtml . Regards, // NaHi and RAA development team Excerpted from [ruby-talk:58018] > - Project's "name" field is restricted to match > /\A[a-z0-9_-]{2,15}\z/ . > > * RAA users can refer a project with a simple name like > "druby".
