Subject: Ruby regexp and XEmacs font-locking

Font-lock works fine with most of rRuby on XEmacs, but regular 
expressions are ignored. I've searched the archives for an answer, but 
nothing I found seemed relevant.

I'd like regular expressions to be highlighted like strings are, though 
a different color. I'm afraid I don't know enough Elisp to figure the 
relevant part of the ruby-mode.el.

Is there a patch for this already existing, or is this something I'll 
have to devote hours or days to figuring out and solving?
