Subject: [ruby-talk:5971] Can singleton methods be removed?

Evidently the Module.remove_method can't be applied
to an instance of a class.

    class Foo
       def foo() ... end
    end
   ......
    class Foo
       remove_method :foo    # okay
    end

but

    foo = Foo.new
    def foo.foo() ... end
    foo.remove_method :foo   # non sense
