Hey Matt,

That's something I'm trying to sort out as well, except that I'm taking a 
different approach.  I downloaded and compiled Tcl/Tk 8.4.1 for OS X last 
night, and when time allows I'm going to try to compile Ruby 1.7.x (the CVS 
version) with Tk support.  I'm not sure how it'll work.  My last attempts 
weren't successful, using Ruby 1.6.7 and Tcl/Tk CVS.

There isn't a OS X-specific ruby wiki, but I think there's a need for more 
OS X information on the regular wiki.  You could always start with:

         http://www.rubygarden.org/ruby?RubyOnMacintosh

If you could get a native binary package of Ruby/Tk working for Mac, I 
think you'd be a bit of a hero!
