I actually posted my suggestion before Rudolf made that comment (but we were
both replying to the same post), so certainly his wishes should be respected.
I think that most of the time, however, the author of the program is unlikely
to want to dabble with the Wiki.  Well, not too much, anyway.

Even in this case, the code as it stands (stood?) may have served Brian's
purpose.  It would be a good idea to make sure the Wiki has a link to the
current version, and an even better idea to keep it up to date.  (Just checked,
it seems to be.)
