Subject: Ruby script with cvs invocations on Win


hi all,

i seem to have stepped over one more of the many windows problems:

situation: windows 2000, cygwin bash, "cvs login" succeeds, then: ruby
script invokes "cvs" via system or backquotes.

result: authentication error.

but: when i do invoke cvs from the cygwin bash, i can retrieve versions,
logs etc. - in other words - login succeeds.

did anybody else experience this?  any solutions?  or at least ideas?
