Subject: "Comprehensive Ruby Archive Network"?

Is there a Ruby equivalent to CPAN for Perl?

Unfortunatelly the domain www.cran.org is already taken by the Christian
Rural Aid Network in Ghana, but I'd still like to see an equivalent to
CPAN.

CPAN has helped Perl grow.  A CRAN might do the same for Ruby.
