From: Daniel Berlinger Date: 2002-11-18T14:33:20+09:00 Subject: Problem with net/http on OS X? Hi, I'm using the standard OS X 10.2.x install of Ruby. I'm trying to use require 'net/http' Net::HTTP.get_print 'blah' 'blah' and I get this error... /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.6/net/protocol.rb:21:in `require': No such file to load -- timeout (LoadError) from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.6/net/protocol.rb:21 from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.6/net/http.rb:398:in `require' from /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.6/net/http.rb:398 from /Users/daniel/Documents/Ruby/http get:4:in `require' from /Users/daniel/Documents/Ruby/http get:4 and in fact "timeout" is "required" by net/http.rb and is apparently non-existant. Is this a bug in this version/installation? Or have I missed something... Thanks, d.
