I had thought about it, but I interpreted the '[r/o]' comment
on $LOAD_PATH in the pickaxe book as read-only, so I didn't try
it out.

This is not so nice, because requires in stuff.rb would also need
to have fully qualified paths.

Modifying $LOAD_PATH works ok for me at the moment, I guess.
