It's not hard to turn off either. Signing messages is something I believe in and would like to encourage. I was turning PGP signatures off for years at my previous job because Outlook couldn't handle them properly; I can use them at my current job now that Microsoft has finally invented "secure email" and caught up with the rest of the civilized world. At this point, the only time I turn off PGP signing is when I send email to my grandma and when I send messages to ruby-talk, and I'm about to start signing the messages to my grandma. Which brings me back to my original question. In case you're interested, here's the original thread regarding my signed messages: http://www.ruby-talk.org/38565 (my signed message) http://www.ruby-talk.org/38584 (the complaint) http://www.ruby-talk.org/38598 (my less than courteous response) (there's more of the thread there, but those are the relevant bits). I was just trying to clarify the general policy of the list before I caused problems for anyone again. > =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D > -- >=20 > Yahoo IM: michael_s_campbell >=20 > __________________________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > HotJobs - Search new jobs daily now > http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/ --=20 Paul Duncan pabs in #gah (OPN IRC) http://www.pablotron.org/ OpenPGP Key ID: 0x82C29562 --Q6STzHxy03qt/hK9 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9yC+XzdlT34LClWIRAk2uAJ0Qwc6NYHoYoLXLXYKZuLfsa4pSEACg0SAE fPy6UFTw0ypzB5CGdro5CQQ= =YUnK -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Q6STzHxy03qt/hK9--
