Subject: bdb under pragprog/cygwin

I'm running the pragprog ruby 1.67 distribution, and cygwin. I can't
get the ruby dbd package to recognise the cygwin libdb2 (after
specifying the with-db paths) - am I just doing something wrong, or
will I need to recompile libdb using mingw to use it with ruby?
(latest cygwin, win98se, libdb installed without any problems)
