From: Philip Mak Date: 2002-10-21T13:15:19+09:00 Subject: Very weird thing in Ruby/Qt setCaption() is behaving oddly in Ruby/Qt. I have the following simple program: --- begin hello_qt2.rb --- require 'qt2' include Qt2 a = QApplication.new([$0]+ARGV) main = QWidget.new if ARGV[0] == '1' main.setCaption("Qt says Hello") elsif ARGV[0] == '2' main.setCaption("Hello, world!") end a.setMainWidget(main) main.show a.exec --- end hello_qt2.rb --- If I execute it as "ruby hello_qt2.rb 1", its window title will be "Qt says Hello", as expected. But if I execute it as "ruby hello_qt2.rb 2", its window title will be "ruby" instead of "Hello, world!". Does anyone know what gives? (Trying various strings suggests a pattern: The caption is only displayed if it starts with "Qt".)
