Subject: Message threading code

I don't suppose anybody's happened to implement jwz's message threading
algorithm[1] in ruby?

Failing that, is anybody aware of any nice implementations elsewhere I
could look at, regardless of language?  I've already looked at mutt's
and Grendel's.
