How about:

candle:~$ ruby -e 'Fixnum a'
-e:1: undefined local variable or method `a' for #<Object:0x401c8ce0> (NameError)
candle:~$ ruby -e 'Fixnum a = 10'
-e:1: undefined method `Fixnum' for #<Object:0x401c8ce0> (NameError)

which preserves the chance they they *will* code as if it were
Ruby :-)
