I haven't read "The Ruby Way", so I cannot say anything it, but I want to say a few words about The Ruby Developer's Guide : this is definitely the must for a Ruby coder. Maybe this is not the book to read from the beginning to the end, but it is a nice intro to Ruby as technoplogy - GUI, DBs, XML, parser generators, etc. Yuri Leikind
