From: Tom Sawyer Date: 2002-08-25T23:54:40+09:00 Subject: vim-ruby...taking the bitterness out? i admit i don't generally use vim. i've been using scite instead. the simple reason is that i am not used to the "modes" of vim, but more importantly i hate how cut (yank), copy, paste, etc work. for i am very used to ctrl+x..v, having spent years using windows (since the end of my amiga days, and of course MSDOS before that) yet vim has a lot of cool features and i'm really starting to feel that i must use it. so i looked into remapping some keys to suit me, and holy syntax! i discovered Cream! http://cream.sourceforge.net/index.html now somebody please tell me that all the cool ruby stuff will still work when i add the Cream. please! i have the coffee --i have the ruby-vim debian pakg installed. now for a little sugar with *Cream*. can you tell i'm happy about this? so does anyone know if there will be any conflict between the ruby extensions and cream? i'll be trying it out myself tomorrow. so if not, i'll let you all know. -- ~transami
