Subject: Mailing list problem?

I noticed that Matz posted a nice informative reply to my posting about
'Deprecation and Unicode' when I happened to look on the Ruby-Talk webpage.
The response also shows up in the newsgroup. But I never saw it on the
mailing list. Is there a list problem?
