Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to use Marshal in a sensible way.

I have an object in an extension that have some Fixnum's and some Bignum's
and some internal state (in char[1000]).

Is it sensible to dump the internal state to a string, append the Fixnums
and Bignums and then return the lot?

How should I dump and reload the Bignum's in a simple way? I guess I could
use inspect but then it's not clear how I can reload them...

I'm clearly missing something here...

Anyone got a simple example using _dump and _load in an extension?

Regards,

Robert
