Subject: [ruby-talk:4533] Bitfield to Bignum?


Hi again,

For our Random extension we need to convert a bitfield (array of Fixnum or
even better array of unsigned int 32 bits or similar) to a Bignum. Anyone
got a nice way/code to do it? Better way than creating a Bignum and going
through the bits, adding them and multiplying by 2?
