for glade/ruby, the code should be rewriten by someone who know xml
well.  or just write libglade wrapper in ruby.

yoshidam's xml module has simple tree and/or dom library, which seems
to be good start for non-libglade module.

DaVinci <bombadil@wanadoo.es> was also interested in glade/ruby a
while ago.

if anyone wants to take over, i'd be happy to help.
